Wording for wedding program?
My parents are divorced so there names will be separate. Whos should go first? My moms or dads?
Also, my fiances mother is deceased and his father in incarcerated.. Should I still list them as parents of the groom?
Oh and my fiances niece will be standing at the door passing out the programs. She’s nine years old. Should we include her in the program? If so, what do I title her role?
It’s really up to you… I would say your dad’s name would go first.
As far as your fiances parents… if he feels its important to have his mom on there, he should and you could put one of those cross symbols on there. As far as his dad, again up to him, if he feels close to him, we would just include his name in there under parents of the groom. It seems perfectly acceptable to not name him on the program if your fiance doesn’t want to.
