From afar, it can be confusing to know which of 4 beautiful and exotic islands to choose for your beach wedding in Hawaii. Here is a quick summary of the 4 islands of Hawaii main based on my 10 years and older who live and travel in these islands:
Oahu, where Honolulu and Waikiki is found. This is NOT the Big Island, which is a common mistake. This island is where most people in the State of Hawaii Live, and is very similar to a big city, is located in the mainland States U.S. dropped an atmosphere of the island, at least until you leave the Honolulu / Waikiki area. If you are looking for traffic from the nightlife and tourists is a good place where to go. If you are looking for a tropical trip to Hawaii for excellence, not the best option.
Maui-This is the second most populous and most visited island. This is not really a big city, but has a large number of people, the grid-like streets of the city, and recalls many of Southern California put on an island. However, it is possible to escape to Maui, if you go to the west (which is dry) or around the whole island to Hana (where, unfortunately, little or no places tourist accommodation). Maui is full of social butterflies and its night life is not consolidated in one place, as in Oahu.
Kauai is the beautiful garden island and is filled with tropical flowers, botanical gardens and lush beauty. Kauai has no network, such as streets and is considered the "country" "people" of Oahu. It is the least populated of the Hawaiian Islands. Kauai has a valley called Kalalau Valley guides and many people consider as the most beautiful place island (I think it makes the most beautiful place on Earth!), so you'll often find Kalalau on the cover of a book on Hawaii. (This is the cover girl of Hawaii, her beautiful essence of Vista.)
Kauai has no nightlife in the previous 2 islands, but there are options for some bars and places to dance. There are many options things to do during the day / night all the normal tourist attractions (diving, helicopter rides, luaus, boat trips, etc) to things that are especially on Kauai, such as kayaking, horseback riding, tubing, taro review visits, ziplining and more.
He has a great natural diversity, including a big gun color cliffs, jungle and desert. Many people consider the best of both worlds because you can have your tropical island getaway, romantic wedding on a beach in Hawaii without 100 visitors unwanted, but still have many options of things to do.
The Big Island / Hawaii – The Big Island, or Big I, is the largest of the main islands and is very large, with very few inhabitants. There is not much nightlife, but you can certainly get away from everything. The Big Island of Hawaii also has an active volcano, you can hike to the other and actually see the hot lava enters the ocean. Beyond that, you will not have much to "do" (there are, of course, all the normal tourist activities), but has immense natural diversity. (Out of the 33 world climate zones, Big I has 26 of them.)
So here is my personal view of the 4 main islands (there are 7 in the State of Hawaii, but almost all visitors to the islands only). Having a beach wedding Hawaii is a wonderful experience. Having a beach wedding in Kauai, is even more special in my opinion, given the particular nature of this garden island. Kauai has as places of scenic backgrounds and beautiful images are always better. There are beaches where you can put everything in a scene and a mountain behind you, facing another way and the mountains and a beach and pier, and consider another way and the cliffs and a river next to a beach behind you! You can imagine how beautiful photography wedding is that much variety in one place.
Of course, any island of your choice, having a wedding coordinator or wedding planner will make your Hawaii special wedding Beach Day Run much easier. It is comforting and relaxing to know that someone is running to make your other concern for you! Fortunately for all brides and grooms to be, there are many wedding coordinators attentive and experienced in Hawaii.
