I thought a lot about what college I want to go. I really want to go in the RIT-Rochester Institute of Technology. I too am deaf high school student, so it was good review for teachers, saying a big school for me. But the thing is I do not know anything. When I was younger, I wanted to be a vet, then a doctor, then a policeman, then a CSI, then a teacher, a wedding planner for the interior designer or realtor. It changed when I got more. I really do not know how important I decide to go or not. At school I mean the results, I'm pretty socialble and a hard worker. Should I swing or what? What do you know RIT, I checked the sites and all, but I want your opinion. I heard that there are racial tensions, is it true? I'm a mixed filipino / black, but I am Tan are also victims of discrimination or what? Confused. Thanks for your help =]
Well, you'll find anywhere racial tensions. I do not think you should worry about is the ILR. I have family in this way, I never heard a rumor. Thus, the more difficult question. I would definitely go to RIT, * after * you've decided what you want done, and also because you can get in:) I go to a state university and obtain all or Most of their general education requirements in the gap. The main point is to EDS Gen give a good rounded knowledge base essential. She further effect is to give an idea of the different areas. RIT is an excellent technical school, however, has a price enormous (see below) compared with, for example, my Alma Mater (see below). Probably one of the most important things a teacher has never said it was "the University is what you do." I know it sounds cliche but so true. We are not exactly what you put into it. If the parties all the time, end up with a shitty education. If you do the work, and less in yours, kill more than I expected. Take classes at a low price as you find a focus. Just make sure RIT has too low limit on the number of credits that may transfer.
