I have a wedding to go to early December – with style gurus please!?

No idea what to find intelligent clothing. I have no dress, and I'm overweight, so everything is shit on me. I "5'3, size 12-14 (depending on the store and style), I'm a little curvy size, but clean behind large, thick thighs and legs soft / ankles. Any suggestions on what style of clothing seek or avoid, and good shops to look inside? You want something nice, but not want to finish on the same computer as other guests do not want to spend more than £ 150 if I can help. This is not my marriage – I am a guest.
