open house or reception?

My brother and his wife were married outside the country a year ago and now they are there and we hold a reception and open house. But the question arises: is called a reception or open house? It will be more formal than a day doors open, but less formal than a reception. They wear suits and wedding cake, maybe throw a bouquet of flowers. Neither party to the marriage Royal an official line, but not be a seated dinner any case, more than one out of eavours buffet. We are divided on how to deal invitation. How should encourage reading? open house or reception?

I think if you make your wedding suit, and possibly with branch drawing, pastel, etc., then you can call it a reception. Just put on the invitation that the couple married – maybe if they see that the date was one year before we know it is not as formal as a receipt. Maybe you could put something in the invitation for people to know what to expect or what to wear. You could do something like this: William Miller and Jones, Angela married private ceremony in September 6, 2007 Please join us for a cocktail party to celebrate their marriage Saturday, October 18, 2008 à 1254 sixteen hours Main Street New York, New York * Held semi-formal
