So my husband and I have talked to have more than a marriage of personal "alone, I and the person we marry. The thing is taken, we talked about a trip to Cali, or Florida and have a nice wedding on a golf park, beach etc.. But how we get a marriage license. We live in Texas, and I understand when you get a marriage license, you must marry in two weeks? My question is: Can we get a license Marriage in Texas and marry in another state? Like – that are considered married for the State of Texas and Florida / California Thanks / etc? in advance. X Sunshine.

If you have a marriage license, is married. To do this, means. Once you sign, you are married. Why not simply with the county clerk, get married and get your license, then take a trip together to California and pay someone to give her hug and a small ceremony on the beach? Simple, clear and easy. That is what my husband and I (except for going to another state). We went to Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California and was a minister who has been there with us (she had a house in the island), took us to the top of a cliff overlooking the water and we gave him our votes at that moment. Then he spent two nights on the island for our honeymoon. It was unbelievable.
