New York Marriage License Question?

Hello Can I use my marriage license if it expires the day before marriage? Once I obtain the license, effective immediately? The reason I ask is because the intention of going for the license of the 7 / 13, because I have to mourn that day at work and I wanted to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. My wedding is 9 / 15 that is not within 60 days. Do you allow or just have the license to another date?

The license is not valid and the celebrant, legally, can not perform the ceremony without a valid license. It is not necessary to obtain a license in early New York – For They are usually very shortly after calling for, if not on the same day.
