Elvis and Priscilla were married May 1, 1967, almost eight years after their courtship began. The wedding was private, was held at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Priscilla wore a dress of white pearls and veil. The veil was attached to her hair, which is known in the popular "beehive" style. The veil was three feet long. Her hair was dyed black.
