Am I wrong for remodeling the kitchen and do not attend a destination wedding of friends?
My friend had planned a destination wedding to be attend. However, I lost my job, my parents and some family members in recent months. He was very aware that he would be present. A month ago, my husband decided to remodel the kitchen itself (we have paid for a work), my friend is crazy, now that they have not used this money to go to your destination wedding. In every kitchen cost me less than the trip would be. Am I wrong?
No, you are not wrong, it was her choice to have the destination wedding, knowing full well that some people are not able to attend. Sometimes I think destination weddings are a bit selfish if you expect people to come, regardless of cost. Besides, your kitchen will lasting longer and add value to your home. I have done the same.
