What to wear over a dress (for a guest)?
Have a wedding in February. the bride is my husbands cousin, and because of family ties, the boys (My husband, his brothers, father and my sons aged 3 and 6, plus a nephew aged 2) are all wearing full sottish kilts (wedding is in Stirling). I finally picked a dress, purple/plum, just below the knee perfect for the occasion, but it’s February, in Scotland and bloomin cold and I need to wear an outercoat of some kind, but what? A black bolero shrug? A Wrap? A coat or jacket? Help please!
I would find a black full length coat that is about the length of your dress, maybe wool, A shrug would probably not be warm enough
