Wedding Gown In 27 Dresses

My parents were married by the time the 2nd. What should they wear?

1st time they were married at City Hall, the mother was not dressed wedding, just a simple baby blue dress. Daddy wore a blue suit and a simple shirt. They are not a big deal about it because I could not really afford. He was 27 years ago. Now it is 50 and decided to renew their vows in church. They want to keep it small and intimate again and would probably be a reception at his home. What Mama think I should be this time? I want it to look and feel beautiful, but she's afraid that the dress would be inappropriate for their age. It looks pretty good for 50. Other suggestions and ideas to transform your wedding reception in a modest little experience of time? Thank you.

I think a dress would be great, maybe something in blue as if for the first time round I think it would be so nice:)
