How do I remove rust stains from a silk dress, 40 years of marriage? My daughter wants to take in August.?
This dress professionly was cleaned and stored in a "Preservation Box" layers of blue and seal. He was also put on a thick plastic bag. They are stored in a closet and did not open until my daughter came home a treat for your wedding. Spots are on the front of the dress and are quite large. (12×12) I do not know what they are, but the dress does not have these spots just brought 44 years. The cleaners said they can not remove stains. My daughter wants to marry someone of my dress. I tried Oxy Clean, but did not work and that old man who used to earn points fenders for my children. 1 Color-Safe and Clorex part bleach dishwasher detergent flakes 1 part dry. It worked very well. The stains are gone and the dress is actually white now.
