What can i do with my very beautiful wedding dress?

I don’t feel inclined to have it preserved or save it. I would really like someone else to get use out of it before it goes out of style! I guess what i am looking for are ideas for consignment stores, charities, or maybe an idea that i haven’t thought of yet in Seattle, WA. I haven’t had it professionally cleaned yet, so information about whether your suggestion requires having it cleaned or not would be helpful too!

My advice would be to donate it to Cinderella’s Trunk. They are a Washington (Bothell, I believe) based charity that lends out formal and semi-formal clothings (along with accessories, hosiery, and make up – the last two of which do not need to be returned) for the cost of dry-cleaning ($10).

The purpose is to allow people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to go to prom, formal dances, weddings, or have a nice wedding the ability to do so. It’s nice.
