Are people dressed in Salem, MA the weekend before Halloween?

I have to go to Salem, MA this Friday. I left after a few years ago on Halloween and it was a blast. Unfortunitly Halloween is celebrated on the day of this year and can not be lowered. So if I intend to dress for Friday? Or is it something that is just saved for Halloween?

I'm sure they will be dressed Friday. I'm going down on Saturday and they are dressed then also:) Have fun!
