A Little Help With Choosing Your Father Daughter Wedding Song

Songs for the father daughter wedding dance are just one piece of the wedding but are a particularly important piece. Most girls put a large amount of time into finding the most fitting song that’s significant to the relationship that they have their dad. Many brides try and reminisce old memories from their younger years and try to get a song that relates to those memories in some shape. Some brides already have a special song that they have with their father, and in that case, already have picked out their father daughter wedding song. I presume that since you are reading this that this is not your case. This is the reason why I have observed some ideas to help you choose the ideal song and even have ten of some of the most used father daughter wedding songs listed below.

Step one in choosing the perfect father daughter wedding song is to sit with your father and talk about great times that you both share of your adolescence and teenage years. Have you got a moment when you were scared and your daddy made it better? Did you have an boyfriend make you go through heartbreak and your father helped you realize the guy did not merit you? How about that first dance competition that your father helped you to get ready for? I have listed only a few things to help you that are broad but should be able to be applied to many relationships.

After jotting down a few of the memories from before, figure out if you or your father have a preference on the type of music. Would both of you like a quicker or slower paced dance? After the decision has been made what sort of music you want to dance to, then comes the best part.

Browse on the internet with your dad and look through lists of songs that you and your father like the best. Preferably use a site with both the words and a video or audio of the tune so that you can do all your research on the same site. Look particularly in the lyrics for lines or eventualities that apply to those important memories that you wrote down earlier. Narrow these songs down to your top three and select you and your pop’s favorite!

Congratulations, you have just selected the best father daughter dance song for your wedding!

What are some good questions to ask the guests for a wedding video?

I am doing the wedding video for a College friend of mine. The best part of most videos are family interactions, not just random shots of the family dancing. What do you think would be good interview questions to ask people who will be at the wedding?

GREAT QUESTION!

Ask the people how they know the bride, groom or couple.
Have the people tell them their first positive memory of either spouse or couple, with approximate date. (history will be great in the future)
Ask the guest what he or she most looks forward to sharing with the couple in the future.

These questions will not only tell alot about the wedding couple, but it will also tell a bunch about the guests, which is important.

P.S. My wedding video has the last “video memories” of two of my best friends, a married couple, that were killed in a tragic car wreck in their early 20′s. The girl caught my wife’s boquet even. It is priceless. Questions, like the ones above, tell a great deal about the guests past, thier love for the wedding party, the positive character of the guests, a positive time in their past and, also, displays what wonderful friends they were.

Still snapshots of that couple were framed and displayed at the funeral even.

I know this is morbid, but, you just never know.

We get married when we are young so we don’t think about the importance of the past, but it becomes very important to us fast.

A wedding is one of the only times you are going to get your family and friends all together, in one place, and have video running. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!!!!
