What is the best place to buy a diamond set in New York?
I'm going to Manhattan next Saturday and want to buy an engagement ring in diamond and wedding band – high quality – but for a price. I know that on Canal Street have great deals on things like books and pocket watches … but I do not know if this is the best place to buy a diamond … I mean, how can I find good quality? Can not afford a place like Tiffany's or something even remotely like that … What is your opinion?
Go to the diamond district. but it must have an idea of what you're looking for. then be around and compare prices. and walk if you feel pressured or that they are giving a shit deal. but honestly, it's better to go in the middle of the week … Saturday, they are very busy and not really taking the time to Bargin with you because they have other customers to bear.
