Maymont Park in Richmond – the Italian garden is a favorite wedding site – And transportation have created a home for entertaining as well. Also, check with the Garden Club – sometimes, some farm houses in Windsor or along Monument Avenue will allow the marriages taking place in your backyard. The Poe Museum on East Broad Street has a lovely patio in the rear – Blocks and restaurant Mr Patrick Henry's / Inn is only few steps. The Museum of Fine Arts on the Boulevard and Garden Grove is a magnificent fountain sculpture – Imagine getting married in some great art in the world! And if it rains, you may be holding the ceremony at the Place d'Italie. If you are in civil war – if you can not perform the ceremony the church of the former hospital next to the VMFA or Valentine Museum, near MCV – or the daughter of the Confederacy Museum … By permit only – to the top of City Hall 900 E general – but by permit only. The chapel on the Virginia Union University – is a very nice place to get married – and have a big kitchen, too. St. Gertrude High School I used to have a beautiful chapel and gardens. I gave them a call. Of course, the Country Club of Virginia – and Stratford Hills Country Club are the venues Lovely – but only to members – such time can change a call? The University of Richmond is a beautiful campus – again with a hood and a good meal. He is a retired Episcopal – I remember the name – or something like Edgemont Keswick or Mayflower – one of those names such as nasal congestion – right on River Road – well worth asking. Good sites for weddings and outdoor pavilions for catering, etc, etc Deep Run Hunt Club in Goochland County is too nice. Hope this helps.
