I was invited to a massive bridal shower/gift grab orgy 100+ .Can I just give a card?

I RSVP’d before I knew about this insanity.
Since then the stressed out Maid of Honor was dismissed for protesting the thousands of dollars it would cost her to throw the party. The original guest list had only 17 people on it. Mother of the Bride added a “few” extra to bring the total to 114!!!
I want to go to see this insane spectacle and bought a very nice cookbook on clearance for 7dollars…. Now I feel even this is too much for the greedy piggy bride.
Does going to a shower mean I have to bring a gift? Or is it optional?

Ok what she did to the MOH was wrong, if she wanted something big and extravagant she should have paid for it herself and not take it out on her. However if u do want to check out the circus that shower is going to be the definitly take the cookbook, whats seven bucks? the price of admission, lol.

Bridal shower penis cake and poem…The funniest!!
