i am on a shoe string budget want to get married in detroit i was thinkind belle isle casino?

i need some where on the east side that i can have wedding and reception together….help
my budget is 5000 dollars uncle is paying up tp 1000 for a hall other uncle is handling the music sister photography i just cant find a place to have it ceremony/and recepition together

Personally, I can see you are working small even if $5 grand is a lot of money it sure can get chewed up by a wedding.

You might want to consider something a little different. Rent a bar for an afternoon. On the east side, I think on Charlevoix, there is a place called the Texas Bar … they could set you up.

Another bar that has a very nice garden is the Old Miami on Cass at Alexandrine.

Bars are usually slow in the afternoon and would be very interested in a $3,000 afternoon.

The Wedding-Industrial Complex is designed to vaccum money from your pocket.

Another idea would be to use the $4 grand for a down payment on a home and spend the remaining grand on a wonderful BBQ in the backyard.
